American Express partnered with Plum to reach Plum’s audience and to compliment their regional marketing efforts in Plum’s winter markets. Each Plum-produced “My Life. My Card.” localized spot featured notable and beloved local individuals describing their life and favorite local establishments, and imparting their inside knowledge to Plum’s audience. By profiling these local gems, from the local musician to the local cheese shop owner, American Express applauded the individuals who embody the heart of these communities.
In 2008, American Express teamed up with Plum again to bring its local marketing campaign to the screen. Inspired by the “Experience Aspen through the eyes of a Local”, Plum found notable locals to share their perspectives of Aspen and beloved local spots at which they like to dine, explore and shop.
The segments are hyper local, each created with emphasis on the region and only aired in that particular market.
The program also included MorningNoon&Night Show on-air integration and promotions with local American Express merchants, and branded billboards.
