Meet Plum Telluride Blogger, Lisa Wilson! Lisa has been living and blogging in Telluride for 2 years, and, although she's entirely too humble to admit it, she's a fantastic photographer. In addition to posting for Plum, Lisa maintains two blogs, Mountains Rule & Telluride Daily Photo. Lisa was kind enough answer a few of our questions, about herself and some of her Telluride favorites.

How long have you lived in the Telluride (and where did you live before)?

2 years. I moved to Telluride from a town west of Tulsa, Oklahoma named Sand Springs where I had lived my whole life.

Ski or Snowboard? And what gear are you using?

I have only skied. I have Nordica ski boots and Roxy Ala skis. I have to say my Nordica boots and footbeds done at Paragon are perfect! Comfortable and it has to be under 20 degrees before my feet get cold.

What's your favorite run on Telluride Mountain?

Since I was 35 when I learned how to ski, I'm not an extreme skier. I tend to stay around lift 10 and ski the blue run Marmot a lot.

Favorite Telluride restaurant for comfort food, date night, and lunch?

If I want to splurge on a really nice dinner, I like Allred's. In town my favorites are Emilio's, Siam, and Shanghai. Allred's and Honga's are great for date nights. For lunch you can't beat a pizza at Brown Dog.

Best kept secret in Telluride?

Most people only think of skiing when they hear about Telluride. The summers are equally beautiful and exciting with all of the festivals, hiking and four-wheeling into town from Imogene and Black Bear Passes.

What will you miss most about the Winter Season?

I will miss skiing and riding the lifts. There's something very peaceful about taking a ride through the trees to higher elevations.

What are you looking forward to the most this Summer?

Hitting the trails in my Jeep and hiking.

How long have you been a photographer?

I don't really call myself a photographer. I never took very many photos until I moved to Telluride. I give God the credit for providing the beautiful scenery for my photos.

How long have you been a blogger?

Almost 2 years. I originally started blogging just so our family and friends could see what we were doing. I never expected to draw such a large number of people visiting my blogs.

What are your favorite blogs?

Alaskan Explorer

Ivar Ivrig

The 7MSN Ranch

The Rocky Mountain Retreat

Mountain Photographer

Favorite book/album/movie?

Book: Hard to narrow that down. I would have to say anything by Chris Bohjalian or Jennifer Weiner.

Album: Foo Fighters, In Your Honor.

Movie: Tombstone, Gladiator and The Departed.

Who's your celebrity BFF?

Julia Roberts or Christina Applegate

And perhaps the most important question of all...Pick a Superpower: Flight or Invisibility?

Flight. Wouldn't everyone love to fly anywhere for free?

Thanks, Lisa! We can't wait to see more posts & pictures!
