Meet Keanan Duffty, The Juice host and Plum Hamptons correspondent! The utterly charming (and dark!) Duffty took the time to answer a few of questions, sharing some of his Hamptons favorites and his belief that the Montauk Monster would make a fine guard dog.

How long have you lived in The Hamptons (and where did you live before)?

Since 1994. First I was in Southampton, then the Springs, then Bridgehampton and now Sag Harbor. Before that I lived in London. The Hamptons wins, hands down. London's beaches are terrible and the fog gets into your swimming shorts.

What's your favorite beach?

Sunset Beach, a sunset, a beach- what more could you want? Says it all really.

Favorite Hamptons restaurants (comfort food, fine dining, brunch)?

Dockside in Sag Harbor covers it all-comfort food, fine dining, brunch. It's got a great vibe, good service and you can dine inside or out. And you can watch Billy Joel polishing his motorbikes.

Best place to grab a beer/cocktail?

Rowdy Hall is a fun place- good food too, and I love the vibrating alarms they give you to tell you when your table is ready.

Best Hamptons shopping experience?

The Book Sale at Southampton Library. I love books and there are some treasures to be found-but don't tell anyone.

Best kept secret in The Hamptons?

Certain celebrities sexuality.

What do you look forward to the most this Summer?

July 4th Fireworks on Easthampton Main Beach. It's a totally American Experience.

Any tips for dealing with Summer weekend traffic?

Take the back roads and get a bicycle.

The Hamptons are known worldwide. Home to celebrities, world-class dining, killer social events, glitz & glamor...what's the best part of The Hamptons, something people don't know about The Hamptons but that they should know?

The best part of The Hamptons are the beaches. Beautiful and unspoiled.

What's your favorite event on The Hamptons Calendar?

The Hamptons Film Festival.

You're stranded on an island (sadly, not The Hamptons) with two East Enders. Who would they be?

Martha Stewart and the Montauk Monster. Martha would be great she would teach me how to make lemonade and bake cherry pie. The Montauk Monster would scare the pirates away.

Favorite book/album/movie?

A Clockwork Orange (the book, the movie and the album!). I know, I'm dark. But it's great literature, Stanley Kubrick and a transgender classical composer all in one package. The only other place you could find that is on a Throbbing Gristle record.

Who's your celebrity BFF?

David Bowie.

And perhaps the most important question of all...Pick a Superpower: Flight or Invisibility? Why?

Spider senses-it's always good to know about danger in advance. With great power comes great responsibility. Do I get to wear the costume too?

Thanks Keanan!
