3) August is a great time for some fly-fishing, so grab your bait & tackle and head on over to Aspen Outfitting for the area's only Certified Guide Program. You'll hit the waters with an attentive guide who will share their immense knowledge of the local waters with you, and you'll certainly have a fishing experience long to be remembered!

4) It's your last chance to ride the Gondola & hike Aspen Mountain. This beautiful mountain is home to some of Colorado's best alpine hiking and walking trails, and you can choose from leisurely self-guided paths to some more ambitious treks. The Silver Queen Gondola goes 2.5 miles and more than 3,000 vertical feet to the summit of Aspen Mountain. Sounds like a great end-of-summer activity!
