They range from humble to haute and include exciting events, festivals and performances as well as dining, shopping and playing at various treasured spots, shops and institutions.

SEE

2) Head over to Guild Hall on Tuesday, October 13 for The Naked Stage Presents a staged reading of The Pillowman, at 7:30 p.m. Written by Martin McDonagh and starring Michael Nathanson, Mike Chmiel and Joshua Perl, this Tony Award-winning play is a tense psychological drama about a writer being questioned in the connection of a series of murders that bear close resemblance to his writings. A little murder mystery sounds perfect for a chilly October night! Go to the Guild's website for more information

3) On Friday, October 17, come to a very special show by The BBC Band, as they perform at the Time of the Season Concert at WHBPAC, beginning at 8 p.m. This NYC-based band is dedicated to capturing the original sound of The Beatles and the British Invasion of the 1960's. Instead of focusing on costumes and theatrics like many other tribute bands, The BBC Band focuses on the music & perfects every musical nuance to truly reproduce the original sound. Joining the BBC Band will be a bunch of local talent, including John Connelly, Russ Thomas, and Gary Astridge.
