3) Do you giggle, guffaw, or chuckle? Find out at the 2009 Nantucket Comedy Festival, from Monday, July 27, through Saturday, August 1. Watch a seasoned comedian (Jim Gaffigan, Cory Kahaney, or Andy Serwer, to name a few) or watch kids try their own routines at one of the many Teen Stand-Up Programs throughout the week. 4) Get in touch with your inner thespian at the Seaside Shakespeare performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream on Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28. The shows start at 6 p.m. at the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation, and tickets are $18/advance or $15/door.

5) Grab a blanket & some popcorn and head on over to the Nantucket Dreamland Foundation on Thursday, July 30th for an 8 p.m. screening of the 1939 classic, The Wizard of Oz. The viewing is part of the foundation's Movies Under the Stars series, which runs every Thursday-Sunday through Labor Day. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue.
