1) Get a taste of some New Orleans funk rock and check out The Radiators when they perform at The Chicken Box on August 17 and 18! These guys are in the middle of a massive country-wide tour, and this two-night stay in our neck of the woods is not to be missed!

2) The Artists Association of Nantucket is holding their 2nd Annual Benefit Croquet Tournament & Wicked Wicket Party on Friday, August 21 at the Westmoor Club. Come show your amazing Croquet skills, or be more like us and go to find out just how exactly Wicket is played...we've always wondered about those three wooden pegs! Hurry up and register, the deadline is Tuesday, August 18!

3) Are you in the mood to just relax with some music and a nice cold beer? Head over to Cisco Brewery and listen to Billy Voss and Mike Woodard perform on the patio. Dates are August 17, 21, & 22, from 5-7 p.m.

4) Do some good for others and yourself and take part in the Walk Now for Autism on Saturday, August 22. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., and the 1.5 walk starts at Jetties Beach. You can walk as an individual or a team, or even just volunteer your time! This grass-roots event supports research, awareness, advocacy, and family services regarding Autism and the many families it has affected.

5) If you're anything like us, you're wanting nothing more right now than to cram in a little more beach time before the season is over! Grab some sandwiches and other picnic items from Nantucket Gourmet on India Street and head to any one of Nantucket's fabulous beaches.
