EXPERIENCE

1) Check out some stylish pooches at the MSPCA 4th Annual Fashion For Compassion Show, on Wednesday, August 5, from 6:30-10 p.m., at the MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center. The dogs are the models in this fun and charitable fashion show that raises money for the MSPCA Nantucket and their efforts to provide shelter and homes for animals. The show also serves as an auction, as each animal is paired with an item to be sold. Sure to be very adorable!

2) Get out on the sea with more animals on a Seal Cruise with Nantucket Adventures. These daily cruises start with a tour through Historic Nantucket Harbor and end up at remote Tuckernuck and Muskeget Islands, where you're sure to see some seals swimming around! 3 or 2 1/2 hour cruises available.

3) The Pops have arrived! On Saturday, August 8, at 7 p.m., come see The Boston Pops perform at Jetties Beach, featuring Broadway sensation Michael Cavanaugh lending some vocals & piano to what will definitely be an outstanding performance. Check out the Pops on Plum TV:

4) Head on over to The Chicken Box on August 7 and 8 for performances by the funky rock band SuperHoney. These guys have been nominated for TEN Boston Music Awards since 1998, and have taken home the trophy for Outstanding Funk Band for three consecutive years! Very impressive!
