2) Back by popular demand, the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket presents John Cariani's Almost, Maine for another run. This delightful tale of love in a mythical town in the vacation state is directed by Jane Karakula, and starts on Thursday, September 17. Check out their website to get all the dates & times.

3) Jeff Ross will be performing at the Starlight Theatre & Cafe on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19 from 10 p.m. till 1 a.m. Ross performs a fantastic mix of acoustic covers and original songs. So come catch a flick at the theater beforehand, and then finish the night off with some great music...sounds to us like a great date night in Nantucket!

4) On Friday, September 18, the Artists Association of Nantucket will be having a collaborative show spotlighting the work of Sharon Wood Hussey and Julija Mostykanova. The show is part of the popular 10x10 series, and the opening reception will be from 6-8 p.m. Definitely stop on by to see some amazing artworks!

5) If you haven't already, make sure you get down to the weekly Nantucket Farmers & Artisans Market on North Union and Cambridge Street. Featured are locally grown fruits & veggies, baked goods, locally roasted coffee, and a whole range of locally made and hand-crafted pottery, jewelry, and crafts. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will continue every Saturday until October 17.
