Get some air in Telluride

USAirways.com

Vail isn't the only winter wonderland benefiting from the early Holiday Spirit of a major airline.

U.S. Airways has rolled out a bevy of low fare round-trip flights to our beautiful mountain town, just in time for ski season and a dump of fresh powder.

Last week, American Airlines announced a "Kids Fly Free" deal to Vail (including a free lift ticket & transportation on the day of arrival!), and now U.S. Airways has unveiled a number of ridiculously low, round-trip flights, from around the country to Telluride.

CheapTickets.com reports:

Today, we’ve found a wintery deal from US Airways: Discounted fares to Telluride.

When booking a flight, check the terms and conditions. Select departure cities require an advance purchase and certain travel dates. We searched for a fare from Austin in January and found a round-trip flight for lower than advertised. With taxes included, the flight totals $282.

Sample fares are each way to and from Telluride. Taxes and fees are extra:

Austin flights from $214

Los Angeles flights from $224

Houston flights from $224

San Diego flights from $229

Phoenix flights from $361

As Cheap Tickets notes, taxes and fees are extra and some terms and conditions apply, including:

  • Roundtrip purchase required.
  • Fares from Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Ana, Houston and Austin require a 10-day advance purchase and are valid for travel Monday - Saturday; through May 26, 2009.
  • Advertised fares are available on usairways.com.
  • Tickets must be purchased within 24 hours of making the reservation.
  • Tickets are non-refundable; any changes will incur a minimum $150 fee.
  • Blackout dates may apply.
  • Prices valid as of November 11, 2009.
