This not-to-be-missed performance begins at 8pm on Thursday, July 2 at the historic Sheridan Opera House.

2) Celebrate Independence Day the Telluride way! Enjoy the parade down main street, a community picnic in town park, and of course...FIREWORKS! Feeling parched after the parade? Head over to Telluride Historical Museum for a free old-fashioned root beer float, and free admission into the museum all day.

3) Satisfy your art indulgence! Telluride Plein Air starts on Monday, June 29 & runs through Saturday, July 4. Watch some of the most talented plein-air artists as they capture the breathtaking views of Telluride. On Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, Elks and Park and the courtyard in front of the Sheridan Opera House are reserved for a sale of the pieces created during the week.

4) Hike Bear Creek Trail! This beautiful hike is 5 miles up and back and takes you to the Falls in upper Bear Creek. This trail has a gentle and consistent elevation gain of 1050 feet.

SAVOR

5) Go check out The Cosmopolitan! This unique and elegant restaurant was at one time a grand saloon in Telluride's mining days.
