EXPERIENCE

1) Come out to Telluride Institute's Annual Mushroom Festival!  Starting on Thursday, August 27, and finishing up on Sunday, August 30, it's a weekend long event dedicated to the epicurean delights of this fun fungus.  There will be a long line-up of culinary events, as well as hands-on activities for the kids!  Check out Plum's coverage of the funky fungi:

2) Join world-renowned card show entertainer Richard Turner for a night of cards & comedy at the Historic Sheridan Opera House.  The one-night only performance is on Thursday, August 27th, at 7 p.m., and will benefit the local youth organization Young Life!

3) Head to Tommy's on Sunday, August 30 to enjoy some great drink specials, a local Telluridian atmosphere, as well as a chance to get on stage and sing your heart out with some karaoke!  Check out more about Tommy's below:

4) Experience Telluride the equine way and Ride With Roudy! Take a horseback ride along the backdrop of the Wilson Range.  You can choose between one or two hour rides, and we suggest being accompanied by Telluride's own colorful cowboy Roudy, who will not only guide your expedition, but will also tell tales of historic Telluride during the days of the Wild West.
