Every Monday, we post 5 things that we're looking forward to enjoying in the upcoming week. These things are selected by Plum staff and often times by you.

They'll range from humble to haute and include shopping, drinking, sunning, and playing at various treasured spots and shops.

This week we're looking forward to...

EXPERIENCE

1) Celebrate with Wilkinson Public Library, on Friday, August 7, at 5 p.m.! WPL is hosting a party on the patio with live music, beer, root beer, and a barbeque of elk, buffalo, beefalo, and veggie burgers to celebrate the library's 5-star rating by the American Public Library Association. Come out and enjoy this 5-star par-tay!

2)
Enjoy a free evening of beautiful chamber music in Telluride Town Park on Thursday, August 6, at 5 p.m. This concert and picnic kicks off the Annual Telluride Chamber Music Festival that is hosted at the Historic Sheridan Opera House. For ticket information, visit the Chamber Music Festival's website.

3) Learn how to fly fish! Schedule a guided fly-fishing tour with Further Adventures. Get fitted with some waiters, a fishing pole, and an excellent guide and head down the road to the San Miguel River and try your hand at fly-fishing. The river's full of rainbow trout, and it's sure to be a great way to enjoy experience and enjoy the beauty of the area!

4) Head down to Town Park and play a free game of that All-American classic Disc Golf on the 9-hole course that runs through the park. This course offers beautiful views and a chance to get out and walk around, and there's bound to be something going on in Town Park - whether it's a pick-up soccer game, softball, or even some sand volleyball!

SAVOR

5) Enjoy some delicious sangria at Hop Garden! Wednesdays are hump days, and what better way to get over that pesky hump than with a $12 pitcher of sangria and some $5 Malibu rum-infused drinks before the Sunset Concert? Sit outside, enjoy the cheap drinks, then head down to the main stage to watch Trombone Shorty perform, from 6-8 p.m.
