It's no secret that Plum communities are home to some of the finest houses in the country. Plum has been fortunate enough to tour a few of these stunning houses and we want to give you access as well. In this first episode of Plum Homes, we take a look at Vision Hill in Telluride, Colorado, designed by architect Larry Yaw and lead designer Catherine Frank.

Catherine Frank gives Plum's Ramona Bruland a tour of Vision Hill (See Attached Video), highlighting the beauty of contrasting materials (stone, copper, wood), the merging of indoor and outdoor space, and how each window in the finely crafted "Vision" Hill affords a view of a separate mountain range.

Here is what Cottle Carr Yaw Architects LTD had to say about their masterpiece:

On an open site, the house’s form conceals and then reveals the 360-degree panorama of Telluride’s mountains. It claims small territories by enveloping outdoor spaces with distinct building masses. Walls depart from the orthogonal in favor of angles, opening to views and resulting in delightful spaces inside and out. A simple material palette - stone, wood and metal - is used throughout.

Truly a magnificent property.
