At 9,078 feet above sea level, the airport offers picturesque views of the San Juan Mountains. And now - getting to Telluride has never been easier; with a massive runway expansion and new safety features, we're now able to land larger planes here in Telluride. 5) Go have breakfast this week at the brand new Maggie's location, at 300 W Colorado Ave, in Elk's Park. This delicious restaurant has been a fixture in Telluride's community, and has been previously notable for its purple awning at the end of Main Street. BUT NOW discover the same delectable menu and friendly staff at a brand new, larger location. Try a delicious BLT or a hot plate of French Toast sprinkled with powdered sugar, and with a healthy side of fruit! Sit inside the restaurant and eat with the company of locals, or grab a Daily Planet and sit out on the deck and enjoy the late autumn sunshine.
