The last day of ski season was a sunny, very slightly breezy day.  It was a very strange snowpack after the surreal dust storm Telluride experienced last Friday, but still a great day for skiing the whole mountain. It is kind of a Telluride tradition to dress in some kind of costume on the last ski day of the year, but seriously, I think Telluriders use any excuse they can to dress up.

I'm sure that practically everyone stopped in at Gorrono's at some point in the day to enjoy the live music, eat some lunch, or relax and have a drink.  The Gorrono "beach" seemed to be pretty busy the whole day.  I enjoyed a cranberry chicken salad while rest of my family had burgers and mac and cheese.  Since Gorrono's is on the mountain and accessible by the ski runs from lift 4, it will be closed until the 2009-2010 season.  See you on the slopes next year!
