The Telluride Heritage Festival is June 12-14. This historic festival celebrates Telluride’s past. At the festival be sure to check out the R. Carlos Nakai Trio at the Sheridan Opera House on the Saturday, June 13. R. Carlos Nakai is a world renown Native American flutist. Also, check out the Butch Cassidy bank robbery reenactment outside Appaloosa Trading Company at high noon on the 13th.

Bike or hike to Bridal Veil Falls. This four mile, one way hike has an elevation gain of 1,650 feet and gives a stunning view of Bridal Veil Falls, the tallest free falling waterfall in Colorado. This spectacular building perched at the top of the falls is the Bridal Veil hydroelectric plant and home to the Jacobson family during the summer.
