Meanwhile, it seems like more bad news may be on the way for the Yankees slugger. The Associated Press is reporting that doctors drained the cyst on  A-Rod's hip Wednesday but discovered that he has a torn labrum. Yankees GM Brian Cashman hopes to avoid surgery to fix the tear, but admits that if sugery is necessay, Rodriguez could be sidelined for up to 4 months.

One thing is certain. A-Rod won't be playing in the World Baseball Classic.
