Bud Light Street Beat, Vail, CO

Anheuser Busch

Free concert series during the ski season in Vail.

I hesitate to share this gem, but as the last few Street Beat concerts in Vail, Colorado near, I have to divulge.

Although the Street Beat concerts move around, the best location, I have found, is Solaris (a brand new hotel opening soon in the Village; Check out a behind-the-scenes tour). As with typical concerts, the audience area is roped off and secured so that people partaking in a tasty Bud Light beverage stay within the premises... which is fun, but can add up if you find yourself very thirsty after a long day of skiing or boarding.

Here's my insider tip:

Go buy your tasty beverage from Tavern at the Marketplace, located across the street from Solaris in the Vail Village. Not only can you open a tab and pay less, but because the Marketplace owns the sidewalk up to the corner, you are 20 feet from the stage, in an open area where you and twenty of your closest friends fit comfortably. You allowed to bring your drink outside and you will be closer to the stage than most concert attendees!

Now, don't share this tip with too many people... I'd love to have enough space to meet you there! ;)

Just remember to stay behind the fence and not to wonder off of their sidewalk.

Only two Bud Light Street Beat Concerts left:

  • March 31- Public Pick
  • April 14- Thriller DJ Logic

Janyce, thanks for pointing out some of the best kept secrets in the Village. I enjoy the topics you write about because they speak to people who want the local experience. I was at the All Star Refugees concert outside Solaris and the Tavern had $4 drinks, while bud light was charging $6 for the same thing! Smart move on their part!
