EXPERIENCE

1) Learn some dance moves at the Vail International Dance Festival, with their presentation of Dancing in the Streets, on Wednesday, August 5, at 5 p.m. at the Arrabelle. Included is complimentary dancing, instruction, and demonstration led by Swing Dance Stars Naomi Uyama and Todd Yannacone. Learn more about the Festival with Plum TV below:

2) Go to the American Crown Circus at Harry A. Nottingham Park, from August 3-5. This family-oriented circus extravaganza has acrobats, juggles, aerialists, balancers...and of course, clowns! Two shows each day at 5 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 advance/$15 day of show for adults, $5 for children, and free for kids 12 and under.

3) More great stuff at the Vail International Dance Festival! Come watch one of the world's premier dance troupes as the debut their new season with Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, on Friday, August 7, at 7:30 p.m., at the Ford Amphitheater.

4) Be amazed by world-renowned magician Steven Cohen at the Vail Cascade on August 6-7. He'll be doing all the classic tricks, like mind reading and moving objects without touching them. The audience is encouraged to dress in parlor-fashion from the early 20th century. Two shows per night and 7 and 9 p.m. Only 50 seats per show, so get the tickets before they're gone!

PLAY

5) Think you have what it takes to be a tri-athlete? Then take part in the 2nd Annual BecTri Triathalon on Saturday, August 8, at 8 a.m., at Harry A. Nottingham Park. Starting with a 400-meter swim in beautiful Nottingham Lake, followed by a 15k bike ride and finished off with a 5k run along the pristine Eagle River Path. Should be a great day!
