1) Fall must be here...because it's time for Vail's OktoberFest! On Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, head on over to Lionshead Mall & Vail Square for all the beer & brats you can handle. Special events include yodeling & alpenhorn demonstrations, brat eating contest and a keg bowling contest, rounded off with some dancing and live bands.
2) The Vail Mountain School is having its 38th Annual Home Tour on Sunday, September 13. This year's tour features six gorgeous homes in the area, all of which are unique expressions of mountain-style living. To take part in the tour, simply park at the Vail Transportation Center, get your tickets at the Home Tour Headquarters, and hop on for a complimentary ride to the homes. 3) Early autumn is a great time for running in Vail, and the La Sportiva Evergold 10k is a great race! On Sunday, September 13 at the Vail Golf Club, come check out this new course that will take runners on portions of the Vail Trail and a mix of single track, service roads, and portions of the popular Berry Picker Trail. End-of-season awards will be given out along with a FREE post-race brunch provided by the Happy Valley Grill. Race starts at 10 a.m., visit the website for more details!
4) The 3rd Annual Beaver Creek Women's Golf Invitational is here! On Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11 come to the Beaver Creek Golf Club for a weekend of women's golf & leisure, with a whole roster of amazing events, including cocktail parties, golf clinics, an awards ceremony, and much more. There's also a full line-up of events at the hotel, including spa treatments, horseback riding, hiking, biking, and shopping.
