They range from humble to haute and include shopping, drinking, sunning, and playing at various treasured spots and shops.

This week we're looking forward to...

EXPERIENCE

1) Get ready for the President!  It's been confirmed that President Barack Obama and his family will be arriving at the Martha's Vineyard Regional Airport on Sunday, August 23, and we'll be bringing you all kinds of inside interviews and exclusive tidbits!  Tune into our daily show, Today on the Vineyard, for our Obama Watch, which will be broadcasting to you from Alley's General Store in West Tisbury, just a half mile from the summer White House.  Stop by for a coffee at Alley's Store and watch us film our daily show!  We'll be live on the porch everyday from 7:30-8:30 a.m.  Check out all our footage of Mr. President below:

2) When we're not on the lookout for the First Family, we might be down in Menemsha, possibly fishing with our good friend (who is rumored to be taking Mr. President out on the water to fish for striped bass and blue fish!) Buddy Vanderhoop off the Menemsha Jetty.  If our luck is down, we'll head to Larsen's Fish Market and grab whatever is fresh, before heading home for a family cookout with fresh fish, vegetables from the Beetlebung Farm stand, and a good bottle of wine...maybe even a glass of champagne to celebrate the close of a wonderful summer!

3) Have a simple beach day!  Head to one of the island's gorgeous beaches, from Slyvia State Beach in Oak Bluffs to Philbin Beach in Aquinnah.  If you are lucky enough to have a sticker for the Chilmark town beach, Squibnocket, be on the lookout for members of the Clinton Family...rumor has it the former first daughter is getting married nearby!
