2) Looking for the perfect place to get cozy with some toasty drinks & baked goods? Fight the incoming fall chill with a warm cappuccino or tasty treat at Espresso Love in Edgartown. 3) On Sunday, October 11, get your jogging shoes on and head to the Columbus Day 5K Road Race & One Mile Fun Run to benefit the Island Affordable Housing Fund. This race loops around east chop, giving runners plenty of opportunities to take in some gorgeous panoramic views. In addition to the 5K Road Race, the 1 mile Fun Run starts at 10:30 am. and an additional 5K Walk starts at 11 am. $15-pre-registration, Saturday October 3rd 3-5 pm or $20 on day of race (register at the Wesley Hotel in Oak Bluffs.)

5) We can't think of a better way to celebrate fall than at the Farm Institute in Katama. Explore their amazing 5-acre corn maze, open from 10 a.m. till 7p.m., for one more week only! Maps are provided upon request for different levels of difficulty and excitement. Learn about growing your own food as you explore. The last day to get lost is Friday, October 9. When you'll come out, nobody knows!
