A love of all things nature prevails on Martha's Vineyard. The community has a deep and passionate history with the island's tradition of farming.

Among the truly fabulous finds at the local market, many local farmers open their doors to public participation. This Saturday's classic event is the Hudson Valley Fiber Farm's biggest day of the year. The annual sheep shearing day!

The day's events kick off with a potluck lunch @ 1PM, followed by the official sheep shearing, then the bonfire, and spinning and dyeing demos.

If you attend this event, please take photos and send your story to editors@plumtv.com!
