Until he joined Plum TV last month, Rob Gregory had spent his entire career in magazines. But he has been prepped in other ways for his role as president of network sales and marketing at the niche cable network.
Plum can be seen in only eight playgrounds of the rich and famous, including Aspen, the Hamptons, Martha's Vineyard and Sun Valley. High-powered vacationers who appear on its shows to discuss cooking, politics and culture include Loews Hotels Chairman Johnathan Tisch and actor and producer Bob Balaban.
Like many in Plum's audience, Mr. Gregory loves to ski and kayak at tony resorts. He wears an Oris Swiss watch.
And through his work as advertising director of Gourmet and publisher of Travel & Leisure Golf, Men's Journal, Rolling Stone and most recently Maxim, he's familiar with the worlds of culture, travel and luxury that Plum features.
