Plum, a startup network of television stations and websites focused on producing quality, local, hyper-relevant programming about our markets, seeks a motivated sales associate to work in our Hamptons office. Must be truly bright and motivated, a go-getter, self-starter, multi-tasker who is cool under pressure. Excellent opportunity to learn about this cutting-edge business from the ground up, while providing immediate contributions to company’s growth in this new market.
Primary role:
Selling marketing solutions to prospective clients, starting in the area of, entry-level and event-related TV products as well as web guides and real estate listings. Working under the direction of the sales manager to assist in the overall development of sales, marketing, sponsorships and events.
Duties include:
• Exceeding sales goals
• Develop high volume of new sales leads
• Manage existing client relationships
• Schedule and lead sales related meetings and production
• Maintain sales database, contracts and insertion orders
• Assist with event coordination and sponsorships
• Provide clients with requested dubs, etc.
• Maintain relationships
• Manage ongoing sales material development
• Develop proposals
• Act as client advocate within Plum to ensure timely delivery of creative materials
• Ensure advertisements are consistent with client needs
Requirements:
• Sales, PR, or marketing experience
• BA
