Director of Local Programming
Daniel has worked for Plum since its inception 2004 and has served numerous roles, including host, producer, General Manager, and is currently Director of Programming for the network's eight channels.
Daniel has produced a wide ranging series of programs and documentaries for Plum, from the network's coverage of the Presidential primaries and conventions to a series of documentaries on the wine regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux, Tuscany, Spain and Napa.
Daniel has worked for Plum in Nantucket, Aspen, Vail, the Hamptons and New York City. In 2007 Daniel was nominated for an Emmy for producing Plum's documentary on the Aspen Ideas Featival.
Daniel began his career in journalism at The Nation, and served as assistant producer for the CinemaNation production "Stealing the Fire" (2002), a documentary about the black market for nuclear weapons technology. Daniel also contributed regular book reviews to The Hartford Courant.
Daniel graduated with Honors from Brown University in 2000 with a double concentration in English and Modern Culture and Media.
