About the Show

Ever since there were antique dealers, there has always been a “guy behind the guy” – a lower element of character known in the antique trade as “the picker.” As antique dealers go about their day-to-day business, the “picker” or “junker” is out rousting and digging in hopes of finding the unusual and impossible.

Stuck in an old barn, shoveled away in a tool shed, hidden in a farmhouse attic or otherwise out of view to the eyes of the world – if it’s out there, professional picker Michael Wolfe will find it.

Each day Wolfe and his friends take to the road, roaming the country in search of these neglected treasures. What they find is more than just a vintage gas station sign or an antique motorbike. They find the colorful, human guardians of Americana.
