About the Show

Books on TV has traditionally been a good idea but a dreary thing to watch. Imagine a place where writers talk about their books and writing, where scientists and artists meet to swap ideas from either end of the spectrum. This series of half hour episodes takes as its starting point fiction, non-fiction and poetry, new, old and yet to be written, and launches the viewer into a world of ideas. Books on TV was a good start, and this is better.
