It’s no wonder that Aspen is a world-renowned ski resort, with more than 400 inches of snow this winter alone, an unrivaled nightlife, and a cowboy sensibility that keeps visitors coming back for more. But Aspen is just as amazing when the mountains are green as it is when they are white.

Lewis Black, author, actor, playwright, Daily Show correspondent & comedic curmudgeon, joins Oliver Sharpe & Ann Korologos at the 2009 Aspen Ideas Festival to share a few big ideas. Lewis discusses a few of the panels he is participating including the comedy/journalism event, The News Has No Clothes, as well as his latest book Me Of Little Faith (his take on religion). Lewis also shares what he believes to be the most important topic facing America: Education & the lack of quality education. He speaks about the importance of honoring the Social Contract and laments the declining status of the profession of teaching. Black also offers another big idea...finding some way to pump more oxygen into Aspen.
