Hurricane Earl Threatens Labor Day Weekend Festivities in The Hamptons
It could be a rough (and dangerous) Labor Day weekend at the beach. Meteorologists are warning that Hurricane Earl's projected path poses a serious threat to the East Coast. Rip currents, high winds and heavy surf conditions could result from Hurricane Earl, now a Category 4 storm, which is currently forecast to pass east of Long Island late this week.

Real Housewives of NYC Nick Leighton Recap: The Bensimon v. Bethany Brawl
After being relegated to mere cameos on Housewives for much of the season, The Real Housewives of New York City is now decidedly becoming the Kelly Killoren Bensimon show (we couldn't be happier!). Several hours before this week's episode of Housewives was set to air, I was sitting with Kelly at a kitschy Noho cafe eating “fat girl food" (that's what we like to call the chicken fingers at Nichol's in East Hampton, so our Manhattan substitute was Cajun fried oysters and chicken wings - comfort food!).
