Consequently, Palm Beach consignment and vintage stores have always been flush with near untouched designer couture; but, in the wake of Bernie Madoff, consignment stores have seen an even bigger boom as cash-strapped residents look for extra income, and fashion savvy treasure hunters snap up the goods.
