The annual Nantucket Film Festival is a highly anticipated weekend, filled with great events and activities for any movie lover. This year was a particularly special festival as it marked the 15th anniversary of the event.

Ryan Dobbins covers opening night at the Nantucket Film Festival 2010. Toy Story 3 played at the Sconset Casino in the afternoon. Mystelle Brabbée and Colin Stanfield discuss the excitement of getting the Pixar film at Nantucket Film Fest. Dobbins got reactions from the crowd of kids and adults about the latest Toy Story installment, and The Extra Man premiered at the Nantucket High School, where Ryan was there to query the moviegoers.

Producer Fisher Stevens & star Ric O'Barry join festival director Mystelle Brabbee during the 2009 Nantucket Film Festival to discuss their film, The Cove. The Cove recently won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. The film exposes the annual, six month long dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan. Stevens discusses how the film came together from over 400+ hours of footage, while O'Barry (Flipper's former trainer) shares his long history with marine life & describes how individuals can effect change and end this brutal practice. Congrats to Fisher, Ric and all involved on this amazing film and their Academy Award win!
