Robert F. Kennedy Jr Stands Firm In His Opposition to Cape Wind

The debate over the proposed wind farm in Nantucket Sound - slated to be the first off-shore wind farm in the United States - has created deep divisions in the environmental community. Like his uncle, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been a fierce critic of the Cape Wind proposal, & is standing firm in his opposition, despite the political momentum Cape Wind has gained. We asked Kennedy how he reconciles his opposition to the project with the urgent need to create clean energy.

In fact, the wind farm issue has been the subject of fierce debate for the past nine years. Plum spoke to the leaders of local groups both in favor and opposed to this controversial project.
