Meet Sara Sheehy, Plum Sun Valley's newest blogger! Sara is a relatively recent Wood River Valley transplant (seven months & counting!) and has been blogging for two years, practicing photography for five years, and most importantly, skiing since she was 5 years old. Sara was kind enough answer a few of our questions, about herself and some of her Wood River Valley favorites.

Camp Rainbow Gold is a week-long camp for cancer survivors. Specifically, it's a camp for child cancer survivors. This year, 85 campers are currently at Camp Rainbow Gold celebrating life.

Candace Shadley, founder and director of the Dirt Series, was attempting to round up the attention of thirty excited women. Radiating confidence, humor, and business, Candace managed to direct attention to her beaming smile. She started by introducing the coaches – Lu, Julie, Penny, Angela and Jennifer. While learning a bit about them, I thought to myself “If anyone can teach me to mountain bike, it’s these women.” Boy, was I right.

I am not an adventurous eater. I'll put it right out there and say that chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese are right up there on my list of favorite foods. This fact lingered in the back of my mind as I contemplated a weekend of true foodery - the 3rd Annual Sun Valley Food and Wine Festival.
