The installment of a new PET/CT scanner has given them further ability to diagnose cancer earlier and more accurately. In the past patients would have to travel all the way to Denver for the treatment that the Vail Valley Medical Center offers now. People from nearby areas can more easily find the care they need thanks to the Shaw Regional Cancer Center's commitment to improving their level of care.
