Unlimited Adventures: Christopher Swain
Christopher Swain is the first person in history to swim the entire lengths of some of the filthiest waterways in the country, including the Hudson, Charles, Lake Champlain & the East River. He undertakes these grueling, often pyschologically-disturbing, treks to raise awareness of the poor quality of our most precious resource. Swain visited the Valley as part of Vail Symposium's Unlimited Adventures series & spoke with Plum about his experiences in the water.

Kimi Puntillo, the first woman to run a marathon on every continent, was in Vail as part of Vail Symposium's Unlimited Adventures series. She spoke with Plum about a few of her favorite marathons (Antarctica, Everest, Great Wall of China) and how the camaraderie with fellow runners and the breathtaking surroundings keep her running.

Unlimited Adventures: Jon Bowermaster
Writer, filmmaker and all-around adventurer Jon Bowermaster sits down with Plum to discuss his work documenting the health of the world's oceans. He has been traveling around the world, one continent at a time, via sea kayak and thus far has made eight long journeys around the globe. He describes his travels, particularly his most recent trip to Antarctica where he and his fellow travelers witnessed the collapse of an ice arch. Bowermaster shares what he believes to be the greatest threats to the Earth's oceans.
