Dick Hauserman, One of Vail's Founding Fathers, Passes Away

The beloved Dick Hauserman, Vail Valley resident for over 40 years and inventor of the Vail logo, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the age of 93.

Vail Valley Medical Center: PET CT

The Shaw Regional Cancer Center is constantly improving the level of care they can offer to patients in the Vail Valley. The installment of a new PET/CT scanner has given them further ability to diagnose cancer earlier and more accurately. In the past patients would have to travel all the way to Denver for the treatment that the Vail Valley Medical Center offers now. People from nearby areas can more easily find the care they need thanks to the Shaw Regional Cancer Center's commitment to improving their level of care.
