The battle between Boston and New York moved from the baseball field to the stage at the 2009 Nantucket Comedy Festival during the Boston vs New York Smackdown event hosted by MSNBC Hardball's Chris Matthews. New York came into this year's event under the tent at Jetties Beach down 0-1 after Boston's overwhelming victory as the crowd favorite during last year's outing.
