Wine festival president and founder Denis Toner takes us through some of this year's highlights featuring artisan cheese with Ihsan Gurdal; going clamming with winemaker Ehren Jordan, cooking legend Jasper White and island shell fisherman Spanky; Cooking seminar with Chefs Jaime Hamlin and Sarah Leah Chase, along with award winning winemaker Jim Clendenen of Au Bon Climat and Skip Bennett of Island Creek Oysters; the 9th annual Harbor Gala with Plum host Amber Cantella who met up with winemakers and restaurateurs; and in a more formal setting, Chef Olivier Muller of Daniel Boulud’s Bistro Moderne in Manhattan and head winemaker, Jean-Charles Thomas from Maison Louis Latour put together a wonderful pair of food and wine in the East Brick during one of the Great Wines in Grand Homes dinners.
Overall the 13th Annual Nantucket Wine Festival was a great success and we look forward to next year’s event!
