In the season six premiere of Beyond the Boardroom, Jonathan Tisch sits down with the CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group, Danny Meyer. Meyer discusses his early days as an aspiring entrepreneur, the keys to his success, and his vision for the future. Meyer shares his adventures in the restaurant business and describes how his business naivete (plus his singular desire to "throw a party every night") made his first restaurant, Union Square Cafe, an unlikely success story. With a dozen beloved NY establishments now under his belt, and Shake Shack rolling out to new cities, he remains true to his original goal: making people happy.
