There is more to the Cold Turkey Plunge than just diving into freezing water. Hundreds of Nantucketers make it out every year for the event which has raised over fifty thousand dollars. Watch as veteran plunger, Andrea Kovac, gathers pledges and prepares for the dive. We also hear from Co-founders of the event, Barbara Clarke and Bess Clarke.
EVENT: Cold Turkey Plunge, 10am Thanksgiving morning at the Children's Beach. Participants can pick up pledge cards at the library and other locations around town as well as download them on the website. You can register day-of for $25. Added Bonus –Prizes for best costumes, most money raised and largest group participation.
