Fashion designer and stylist, Uli Herzner, takes us into her world of beautiful, printed dresses, gorgeous models, and friendly, talented people.

In this first segment, Uli has a few of her new designs photographed, and she talks about her beginnings and her rather unusual way of creating the beautiful and unforgettable clothes America saw on Bravo's Project Runway's 3rd season.

A little more about Uli:

Trained as a physical therapist, Herzner eventually decided that she wanted to enter the world of fashion. She cites designers Kenzo and Roberto Cavalli as her inspirations.

Growing up in East Germany, Uli says she dreamed of coming to the United States long before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Herzner garners her inspiration from the beaches and climate of Miami, as well as from fellow designers Kenzo and Roberto Cavalli. She designed a collection for Olympus Fashion Week, finishing in the runner-up spot. [more]

I have been trying to get in touch with you (Uli) since you were on Project Runway (you were a winner to me, no matter what the show said). I would like to partner with you on a community project to help inspire some teens who are interested in designing fashions. I hoping word will get to you so you can personally let me know if you would be interested in helping. In your gentle, quiet manner, you are an inspiration to others who want to make their dreams come true. I wish you well in your creative work.
