In this episode of Plum Daily hosts Kevin Flynn and Kate Brosnan sit down with Jamie Ranney the founder of the Nantucket Triathlon, whose participants this year include Senator Scott Brown and Olympic medalist Jenny Thompson. Kate interviews local author Nancy Thayer on her 20th book, Beachcombers. We speak to Ema Hudson and Michael May of the Nantucket Preservation Trust about their upcoming kitchen tours and other events. This episode features music with Jamie Howarth at the Summer House. We also head to Nantucket High School for the "Latest on Lyme Disease" with Dr. John Aucott from Johns Hopkins University and Dr. Sam Telford from Tufts University. Last but not least, Plum correspondent Bob gives us the Fishing Report.
