Simon de Pury, Chairman of Phillips de Pury & Company and Chief Auctioneer of the Basso Freestyle 2009, joins Oliver Sharpe on Top Of The Mountain to discuss this year's Freestyle, which benefits the Aspen Art Museum. Simon covers some of the items up for bid in this year's auction (including lunch with Tom Ford) as well as the techniques required of an auctioneer & the importance of planning items in an auction (think theater production!). Simon also lets us know what to expect from Phillips de Pury in 2010.
