The 2008 Hawaiian Nationals Telemark Challenge at Bald Mountain

Director Danny Walton guides us through the 2008 Hawaiian Nationals Telemark Challenge, the oldest, continually run ski race in America. 2008 marked the 28th year of the Hawaiian Nationals Challenge. The Hawaiian Nationals is always one of the most entertaining races held on Baldy each year. Blue skies, crazy costumes, & some great racing made the 2008 event a huge success. The 2009 Hawaiian Nationals Telemark Challenge will be taking place Saturday, April 4 & Sunday, April 5. Head out to Baldy for what is sure to be an entertaining time.

Wounded Warrior Water Sports

For five days this summer, Sun Valley Adaptive Sports hosted disabled war veterans at Pettit Lake for a variety of water sports. The goal of the program was to remove these veterans from their daily routine and help them restore, rehabilitate and reconnect to their lives and family. Executive Director Tom Iselin and a number of Iraq and Afghanistan War veterans discuss the importance of the program and their personal goals for the week.
